Church Farms School . — .Give Back
Thanks to the dream of our school’s Founder, The Rev. Dr. Charles Shreiner, Church Farm School provides a rigorous college preparatory education and instills the core values of respect, integrity, responsibility and brotherhood for a diverse group of boys in grades 9-12 for whom this experience would otherwise be financially inaccessible. Tuition accounts for as much as 90 percent of the operating budget at other independent schools but covers less than 15% of our operating budget.
The CFS Alumni Association created the “The Earl B. Wilkins Alumni Scholarship Award” 40 years ago in honor of former student (Class of 1926), teacher, principal and athletic director/coach Earl Wilkins. The award is a $1K monetary scholarship given annually at Commencement to a graduating senior to offset some expenses at the college of his choice. Recipients are chosen based on demonstrated dedication and effort in academics, athletics and extracurricular activities—just as Wilkins did in his lifetime.
